Balanced Strength for Resilient Growth: for Low-Nutrient Needs

Cacti are tough, low-maintenance plants—but even desert dwellers need the right kind of care. Our cactus plant food is specially formulated to support these unique plants with a nutrient profile designed for their slower metabolism and minimal needs. Unlike standard plant fertilizer, SYBASupport Cactus Plant Food delivers a gentle yet effective dose of plant nutrients, with a potassium-rich blend that strengthens root systems, enhances resilience, and supports steady, healthy growth over time.

Cactus plant food transforms your plant care routine with a lower-nitrogen, higher-potassium formulation ideal for cacti, succulents and arid climate plants. Sybotanica's natural approach means each product is clean, efficient, and free from harsh chemicals. Whether you're caring for a compact Mammillaria or a towering Euphorbia, our range of feeding options—Bio Liquid, Bio Slow Release, and Regular Slow Release—ensures there’s a solution perfectly matched to your substrate and lifestyle. Simplified feeding for strong, structured growth—this is cactus care made easy with SYBASupport.

Why Cacti Deserve Specialized Nutrition

Less Is More: The Right Ratio for Desert Plants

Cacti evolved in nutrient-poor environments, which means they require a completely different feeding profile compared to leafy houseplants. Our cactus plant food respects this natural balance by focusing on a low-nitrogen, high-potassium formula. Nitrogen-heavy blends can actually harm these arid-loving plants by encouraging weak, unnatural growth. Instead, potassium supports sturdy structure, strong roots, and vibrant color without overfeeding. With the right plant nutrients in the right amounts, your cactus stays compact, resilient, and stress-free. Whether you're feeding for flower production or simply supporting seasonal health, our cactus formula is built for success.

Targeted: A Clean Boost Without Overload

SYBASupport Cactus Plant Food is made from high quality plant food sources that are gentle on roots and safe for long-term use. Because cacti store water and nutrients for long stretches, even a small amount of the right fertilizer can go a long way. That’s why we keep things minimal but balanced—clean ingredients, carefully measured minerals, and a format that fits your routine. From seedling to full-grown cactus, this is nutrition that won’t overwhelm or burn, letting your plant thrive on its own terms.

Choose Your Format: Three Ways to Feed Smarter

BIO Liquid: Precision Feeding with Every Watering

Our BIO Liquid cactus plant food is ideal for growers who prefer control and consistency. Mixed with water during your usual routine, it offers immediate nutrient availability without buildup. Designed for use in traditional soil or cactus mixes, this liquid fertilizer delivers a fast-acting boost while staying light enough for the sensitive needs of cacti. Use it sparingly—just once a month during the growing season—and see the difference in structure, color, and root performance. It’s the cleanest way to keep your cactus fed without overdoing it.

BIO Slow Release: Low Maintenance, Long Benefit

For growers who prefer to “set it and forget it,” our BIO Slow Release formula offers the same success as the liquid option, but in a slow-release format. These pellets slowly dissolve over weeks, providing a continuous, gentle nutrient supply without overfeeding. Perfect for repotting or supplementing during growth seasons, this format works well in standard soil and specialized cactus blends. It’s minimal effort with maximum benefit—true to Sybotanica’s mission of making plant care easy, safe, and effective.

Regular Slow Release: Tailored for SYBAStones Substrates

Using our SYBAStones Cacti & Succulent Mineral Mix? You’ll want our regular slow-release formula, specifically engineered for non-organic media. This blend ensures your cactus receives all essential macro and micronutrients without disrupting the mineral balance of the substrate. It’s formulated for optimal uptake in a soil-free setup—providing steady nourishment where organics are absent. Like all our products, it’s designed with precision and backed by our commitment to eco-conscious growing.

Cactus Care Backed by Sybotanica's Experience

SYBASupport: Born from Real Growing Needs

SYBASupport was created not in a lab, but in the hands of growers who’ve faced the same challenges you do. When Sybotanica’s founder, Sybren, realized that off-the-shelf solutions weren’t cutting it—especially for specialized plants like cacti—he developed a better way. Through trial, error, and a deep understanding of soil science, we’ve crafted feeding solutions that align with nature instead of working against it. That’s what sets Sybotanica apart: functional formulas built with passion, not just theory.

Trusted by Cacti Lovers Across Europe

Since our beginnings in a one-room flat filled with cuttings, Sybotanica has evolved into a brand trusted by thousands. Today, our SYBASupport line is the gold standard for houseplant nutrition—from flowering orchids to drought-tolerant cacti. FAQ's

Can I combine different fertilisers?

We do not recommend mixing any of the SYBASupport Line fertilisers. Combining with Worm Castings & Lava gravel is possible

If using SYBASoil, we recommend waiting until the nutrients in SYBASoil have run out (~6 months after repotting)

Will SYBASupport save my dying plant?

If a plant isn’t doing well, adding fertiliser is like giving candy to someone with a stomach ache—it might make things worse.

First, check what’s wrong: too much water, not enough light, or pests. Fix those problems before feeding it.

If lack of nutrients is the problem, your plant might look pale, grow slower, or have yellowing leaves, especially the older leaves.

That’s when fertiliser can help—but always use the right type and amount to avoid overfeeding!

How do I store SYBASupport products?

Please check the specific product page!

What's the difference between BIO & Mineral fertilisers?

Mineral fertilisers are like fast food for plants—quick and easy but can run out fast.

Organic fertilisers are like healthy home-cooked meals—slower to work, but they make the soil better over time.

*For mineral substrates like SYBAHydro, we havent been able to find a suited bio fertiliser, that's why we sell the mineral fertilisers

What's the difference between Liquid & Slow release fertilisers?

Liquid fertilisers are like a quick drink for your plants—they get nutrients fast but need more refills.

Slow-release fertilisers are like a snack that keeps unwrapping itself, feeding your plants bit by bit over time.
