Every Houseplant Has a Unique Appetite

Understanding Indoor Plant Nutrition

Light, humidity, and temperature all play a role in how your houseplants grow—but so does what you feed them. General-purpose fertilizer may offer a quick fix, but it rarely meets the precise needs of your indoor collection. A tropical plant, for example, thrives on nitrogen-rich support, while a cactus needs a lean, potassium-focused formula. Orchids require specific blends that enhance flowering without overwhelming roots. That’s why our indoor plant food range includes nine unique SYBASupport products tailored to these needs. From large-leaf climbers to minimalist succulents, we’ve taken the guesswork out of feeding.

Eco-Friendly, Balanced, and Backed by Soil Science

Each formula in the SYBASupport collection is crafted to be eco-friendly plant food, made without fillers or harsh chemicals. We believe that good nutrition should benefit your plant and the planet. Whether in liquid form for fast absorption or pellet form for sustained release, our plant food options are clean, effective, and rooted in the same eco-conscious philosophy that guides all of Sybotanica’s soil and substrate innovations.

Three Feeding Formats, One Holistic System

BIO Liquid: Quick-Acting and Easy to Use

Our BIO Liquid formulas are perfect for plants that are actively growing or could use a boost. Mixed directly into water, these blends deliver immediate access to vital nutrients, helping support lush foliage, fast root development, and resilient plant health. From tropicals to flowering varieties, this format offers instant gratification for plants that need a regular boost during high-growth seasons.

BIO Slow Release: Organic Nutrition Over Time

For hands-off plant parents or those managing a large collection, our BIO Slow Release pellets offer the same organic, plant-safe nutrients as the liquid version, but in a slow-diffusing format. These are ideal for soil-based setups where a steady supply of nutrition supports long-term plant development without the need for constant monitoring. Simply mix into your substrate and let nature (and SYBASupport) handle the rest.

Regular Slow Release: Specialized for Mineral Substrates

If you're growing with Sybotanica’s SYBAStones: Mineral Substrates, we’ve developed a Slow-Release Fertilizer that fits this system perfectly. These formulas provide essential minerals in a soil-free setting, ensuring your plants don’t miss out on crucial support. Ideal for semi-hydroponic setups, this option offers controlled, long-lasting nutrition while maintaining the optimal balance of your mineral mix.

FAQ's

Can I combine different fertilisers?

We do not recommend mixing any of the SYBASupport Line fertilisers. Combining with Worm Castings & Lava gravel is possible

If using SYBASoil, we recommend waiting until the nutrients in SYBASoil have run out (~6 months after repotting)

Will SYBASupport save my dying plant?

If a plant isn’t doing well, adding fertiliser is like giving candy to someone with a stomach ache—it might make things worse.

First, check what’s wrong: too much water, not enough light, or pests. Fix those problems before feeding it.

If lack of nutrients is the problem, your plant might look pale, grow slower, or have yellowing leaves, especially the older leaves.

That’s when fertiliser can help—but always use the right type and amount to avoid overfeeding!

How do I store SYBASupport products?

Please check the specific product page!

What's the difference between BIO & Mineral fertilisers?

Mineral fertilisers are like fast food for plants—quick and easy but can run out fast.

Organic fertilisers are like healthy home-cooked meals—slower to work, but they make the soil better over time.

*For mineral substrates like SYBAHydro, we havent been able to find a suited bio fertiliser, that's why we sell the mineral fertilisers

What's the difference between Liquid & Slow release fertilisers?

Liquid fertilisers are like a quick drink for your plants—they get nutrients fast but need more refills.

Slow-release fertilisers are like a snack that keeps unwrapping itself, feeding your plants bit by bit over time.
